2025년을 마무리하며 자신의 한해를 정리하고 만난 적 없는 누군가로부터 편지를 받고, 만난 적 없는 또다른 누군가에게 편지를 보냅니다.
신청기간: 11/13–11/27

11월 신청/ 12월 초 매칭/ 12월 중순 발송.
✦ How?
구글폼으로 매칭을 신청하면 수수예가 편지 매칭을 진행합니다. 12월 매칭된 사람에 관한 짧은 키워드들을 읽고, 편지를 써서 그 지역으로 편지를 보냅니다.
✦ Who?
멀리 있는 누군가에게 인사를 전하고 싶은 누구나.
“letters from afar: 지구 저편으로부터”는 아래와 같이 진행됩니다.
- 참여자는 2025년의 핵심 감정 1가지, 키워드 3가지를 정합니다.
- 참여자의 핵심 단어를 읽은 지구 저편의 누군가로부터 편지를 받습니다.
- 참여자 또한 누군가의 핵심 단어를 읽고 지구 저편으로 편지를 보냅니다.

year-end letter: from afar
To celebrate the full circle of the year, we’re opening a letter-matching project.
As 2025 comes to a close, take a moment to reflect on your year, receive a letter from someone you’ve never met, and send a letter to another person you’ve never met!
Sign-up Period: 13 November–27 November
✦ When?
Applications open in November / Matching in early December / Letters sent in mid-December
✦ How?
In December, you’ll receive a few short keywords about your match — read them, write your letter, and send it to their region.
✦ Who?
Anyone who wishes to send a greeting to someone far away.
“year-end letter: from afar” will unfold as follows:
- Each participant chooses one core emotion and three keywords that represent their 2025.
- You’ll receive a letter from someone across the world who reads your words.
- You’ll also write a letter to someone else, inspired by their chosen words.
*Postage costs are covered by participants.
*Further details will be shared via email after registration.
기록의 여운 After the letters
누군가에게 편지를 쓰고, 우표를 붙이고, 우체통에 넣었던 그 시간이 상대방에게 전해졌던 것처럼 누군가가 나를 향해 건너온 그 시간들도 무사히, 그리고 조용히 각자의 손에 닿았기를 바랍니다.

전해진 편지들의 사진을 바라보며, 이 프로젝트가 시간과 마음이 오간 흔적에 가까웠다는 생각을 하게 됩니다.
각자의 자리에서 써 내려간 문장들이 누군가의 시간에 닿았다는 것이 여전히 조금은 놀랍고, 감사하게 느껴집니다.
이 기록들이 그 해의 끝에서 주고받았던 마음을 오래도록 기억하게 해주는 작은 추억이 되기를 바랍니다.

Just as the time spent writing a letter, placing a stamp, and dropping it into a mailbox eventually reached someone else, we hope that the time someone spent thinking of you also arrived safely and quietly into each pair of hands.

As we look at the photographs of the letters that were delivered, we come to see this project as something closer to the traces of time and care that were exchanged. That words written from each person’s own place found their way into someone else’s time still feels quietly surprising, and deeply meaningful.
We hope these records become small memories that help keep the warmth shared at the end of that year alive for a long time.
